David Drake, founder and president of Drake Life, has been involved in the NY metropolitan real estate market for over 10 years. He developed the numerous aspects of the business to compliment the existing services provided and to provide a level of quality and service he saw lacking in other areas. Today Drake Life services over 10,000 happy clients a year through its numerous companies.

David Drake - President
David Drake's rise has become an inspiration for Swedes. Born and raised in Vasteras, the fifth largest city in Sweden, David experienced a typical Swedish childhood filled with academics and culture and in an effort to continue to practice these important ideals, he participated in an foreign exchange program that took him to the United States. Here, David achieved Summa Cum Laude accolades and made the decision to continue his educational pursuits in the United States. He completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies in our nation's capitol, attending American University and earning a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Marketing. For his undergraduate accomplishments, David was given the prestigious Wallenberg Scholarship awarded for excellence in undergraduate academic merit, and decided to stay in Washington DC to attend graduate school at George Washington University. He went on to receive two graduate degrees from this university, including an MBA in Finance and an MA in International Law and Economics.

David spent a few years in finance and left in 1997 to join DJ Knight Realty after having worked on Wall Street in Institutional Sales for Alfred Berg both in New York City and Stockholm, Sweden. At DJ Knight Realty he worked as a Director in commercial real estate where he sold buildings, leased offices and stores with focus on Madison Avenue and Soho. His exposure to residential rentals and condo and co-op sales was extensive during this period. In 1999 he joined Prudential as a Senior Director and focused on building sales, office leasing and retail leasing until his departure when he created Drake Life in 2000.

Over the last few years, David has transformed Drake Life into a conglomerate that has over 15 divisions housed in two corporate office locations on Park Avenue and Fifth Avenue, a third opening up on Madison Avenue 2006 and a satellite office in Florida. The divisions of Drake Life entail Finance, Entertainment, Technology, Service and Real Estate Industries.

Motivational, inspirational, and sometimes outrageous, David Drake's tell-it-like-it-is attitude is a fresh approach to success. David brings to his firms 7 different languages, technology innovation, start up visions and experience of every kind of real estate transaction.
